Companion Services.
Someone from the Center will meet a rape survivor at a city hospital,
police station or court 24 hours a day. Call the Hotline at (202)

Counseling. We provide
free individual and group counseling for survivors of rape and
childhood sexual abuse. Call (202) 232-0789 to make an appointment.
Community Education.
We offer free sexual assault awareness and prevention presentations
(including sexual harassment workshops) to groups of all ages.
Literature. We publish
pamphlets, brochures, and other handouts on sexual violence written
for adults as well as children.
Self-Defense. We
conduct free and low cost self-defense demonstrations and classes.
Training. We provide
training for professionals who work with survivors of sexual violence.
Advocacy. We advocate
on behalf of survivors regarding legislation, current issues, the
media, and institutions which affect survivors.
