Teen Quiz
Answer d is incorrect. The correct answer is b.
If someone decides to report to the police they should not ___.
- call someone for support
- shower, bathe, eat, drink, or comb their hair
- call 911
- go to a safe place
Whether or not to report to the police is a choice only the survivor can make. However, valuable evidence remains on the body and clothing after the assault. If the survivor chooses to report, it is important that they do not shower, eat, drink, smoke, comb their hair, urinate or douche. If a survivor has already done these things they can still report to the police. Making sure they are safe and calling someone for support are always good ideas to suggest to a survivor.
