Our Services
The DC Rape Crisis Center offers free individual therapy services for children (5-12) and teens (13-17). The particular type of therapy offered depends upon the child’s age, developmental level and the child’s needs arising from the trauma of the abuse.
The Center also offers free group therapy for teens at various times throughout the year.
Because sexual abuse can be very difficult for the family of the survivor as well as the survivor, the Center also offers free counseling for non-offending parents and siblings. Counseling may be provided individually or in a group or family therapy setting.
To make a referral or schedule an appointment you can call the DC Rape Crisis Center, at (202) 232-0789.
The 24-hour confidential DC Rape Crisis Center Hotline is available 24/7 at ( (202) 333-RAPE. If you have questions or concerns call us—we’re here to listen!
