this page. Your donation will be accepted on the secured site.
Mail – You can mail your

Matching Gift – You can DOUBLE the impact of your gift by participating in
the matching gift program through your employer.
Check with your employer to see if they have a Matching Gift
Program.
Monthly Giving
– Contact DCRCC and see how you can participate in the monthly giving
program. It is as
simple as 1,2, 3…. Provide a cancelled check, a completed Monthly
Giving authorization form, mail them to DCRCC.
Your gift will be sent to the Center each month automatically and
will help us continue to provide our valuable services and programs for
the community.
Donate a
Vehicle
– Are you thinking of selling or trading in that old car, boat or RV?
Why not donate it instead and receive a charitable tax deduction?

donation process.
In-Kind Gifts
– The Center has specific needs that you, or your company, may be able
to fulfill with gifts-in-kind.

The
official legal bequest language for DCRCC is:
“I, [name], of [city,
state, ZIP], give, devise and bequeath to DC Rape Crisis Center,
Washington, DC [written amount or percentage of the estate or
description of property] for its unrestricted use and purpose.” |

If you prefer to remain anonymous,
your gift will be kept completely confidential. But at the same
time, recognition of your gift can encourage others to do the
same. Whatever the case, we will honor your wishes, because we
appreciate your support immensely.

Suggested
Wording for Bequests
I give, devise,
and bequeath to DC Rape Crisis Center, a non-profit in the District of
Columbia followed by one of these:
FOR AN
UNRESTRICTED GIFT: the sum of $ (or %) of my estate; (or the property
described herein) for its general purposes.
GIFT FOR A
SPECIFIC PURPOSE: to be used for (specify area or purpose of the gift).
MEMORIAL FUND: to
establish "The Memorial Fund" to be used for (specify area or
purpose of the gift).
RESIDUARY: all
the rest, residue, and remainder of my estate both real and personal.
CONTINGENCY GIFT:
I give, devise, and bequeath the residue of the property owned by me at
my death, real and personal and whatever situate, to my spouse or
(others), if he/she (they) survive(s) me. If my spouse or (others) do(es)
not survive me, I give, devise, and bequeath my residuary estate to (use
the identifying language as above).
